Lars Meyer zu Bexten is the new national coach for Greek show jumpers

Internationally well-known show jumping trainer Lars Meyer zu Bexten is taking over as national coach of the Greek show jumping team. In his first official role as national coach—at the Nations Cup in Thessaloniki—the team already finished third under his leadership.

“I am very much looking forward to the coming time with the team and am highly motivated for successful years together with Greece’s show jumpers,” said Meyer zu Bexten. The experienced coach not only brings with him profound expertise in the sport, but also knows the Greek equestrian structures very well: he has been on site regularly in recent years.

With his many years of experience, broad network, and clear training philosophy, Meyer zu Bexten is a strong asset to the Greek Federation, which has set itself ambitious goals on the European stage.

About Lars Meyer zu Bexten:
Meyer zu Bexten has extensive experience in international show jumping. Among other things, he was a member of the DOKR national trainer team for show jumping for several years, has been an FEI tutor since 2004, and has accompanied the Hong Kong team on several international appearances. His work is characterized by structured planning, practical training, and a systematic approach to developing rider-horse pairs.

As the operator of Bexter Hof and initiator of the “Bexter Hof Open” show jumping event, he has also created a professional training environment for national and international riders. His regular work with talented riders and teams from various countries has made him very familiar with international standards – experience that now also benefits the Greek team.
